Cindy Brindle, RN- Clinical Director
Cindy
was appointed as the Clinical Director in November of 2008. A
graduate of the Harford Community College School of
Nursing, Cindy is responsible for leading the nursing staff and
maintaining our resident wellness program. She has been an RN for
20 years, and has worked for the University of Maryland in the Cancer
Center, operating rooms, and NICU, as well as serving as a Nursing
Supervisor in Long Term Care facilities. Cindy is a
life-long resident of Pylesville. She enjoys spending time with her
family, her two dogs, and shopping and doing yard work with her
daughter.
Jim Horant- Maintenance Director
Jim joined the Rock Spring Village team in March of 1999. He
brings a wealth of mechanical and property maintenance experience
to RSV. As the Maintenance Director, he is responsible for
coordinating physical repairs throughout the community, keeping things
running smooth and looking good. A resident of Aberdeen, he
enjoys photography, automobiles, and travelling around the world.
Rose Jorgenson- Food Service Director
Rose was one of the original staff members of Rock Spring Village.
Since our opening in June of 1989, Rose has managed the kitchen
and dietary department, as well as the Housekeeping Department.
Meals are very important to our residents, and Rose and her team work
hard to serve a variety of delicious homecooked meals and treats every
day.
Patricia Ruddle- Community Relations Director
Patricia began her career at RSV within the first year of our opening
in 1989. At that time there were less than twenty residents, and
now there are over 100. She has helped many people transition to
assisted living including her own grandmother, who lived here for eight
years. Thus, she has a personal as well as a professional
relationship with the residents and staff here, which she treasures.
When not at Rock Spring Village, she enjoys playing with her
grandchildren.
Jessica Slade- Office Manager
Jessica joined our team in 1995. She originally began working as
a Dining Room Server, and now, she coordinates all administrative
functions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing,
payroll, and most written correspondence. A resident of Abingdon,
Jessica enjoys spending time at home with her son, her family, and her
friends.
Chrissy Smith- Activities Director
Chrissy originally began working at Rock Spring Village in 1998 as a
Dining Room Server. From there, she moved on to serve as an
Activity Assistant for several years. She left RSV in 2003 to
gain additional experience and eventually took some time off to start a
family. She has returned to RSV, and is now responsible for
coordinating our diverse Activities Program. A graduate of North
Harford High School, Chrissy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mass
Communitions from Towson University, and has been recognized as a
Professionally Certified Activity Director by the National
Certification Council for Activity Professionals. When not
participating in activities with our residents, Chrissy enjoys spending
time with her husband Russell, and their two sons, Austin and Owen, in
their Whiteford home.
